Generations of experience

Our family firm was formed in 1952 by Charlie Fox, who had served his boat-building apprenticeship in Ely with the firm of Appleyard and Lincoln.

Leave your worries behind and cruise at a relaxing pace in total comfort. There's lots of tourist attractions and places to visit including world famous English heritage sites. The cosy living space contains a fully fitted kitchen area, shower room toilet and separate sleeping quarters with a double bed.

Our popular fully serviced marina has 200 moorings. We have onsite boat building and boat repair facilities. Our narrow boat shop (also available online) has narrow boat parts, waterway maps, boat paints, fenders and more..
